I wrote Get On With It sometime in the late 90s in Boston. Addison and I were renting a one-car garage in Somerville, MA. My main memory is how cold it was in that unheated, cinder block space during the long NE winters. We'd have space heaters and every amp turned on just for heat. Anyhow, this track is from that period. I played guitar. Addison played drums and bass. This was a period of time when we were writing a lot of songs but only just learning about recording, mic'ing techniques, mixing, and playing other instruments. You'll hear that when you listen. For the gear heads in the room, Get On With It was recorded on a Roland VS-1680 not long after it debuted.
